Construction Manager At-Risk Selected for the Bus Maintenance Facility
February 2004 — the construction firm of Johnson-Carlier was selected to be the Construction Manager At-Risk for the planned new Bus Maintenance Facility (BMF). The BMF will be located at the southeast corner of 24th Street and Buckeye Road on an 8-acre parcel. The construction value of the BMF will be approximately $4.6 to $5.0 million and will consist of an Administrative Building, Maintenance Building, Bus Wash, Bus Fueling and parking area for a fleet of 62 buses.
Design will commence February 2004 and construction is estimated to commence the 1st quarter of 2005.
