CONSTRUCTION MANAGER SELECTED

The City of Phoenix has selected the Construction Manager for the Rental Car Center project. Austin-Layton will serve as the Construction Manager At-Risk and will be responsible to construct the following; Site Improvements / Infrastructure (utilities, roads, landscaping, etc.), Customer Service Building and the Parking Garage. Austin-Layton is a joint venture made up of Austin Commercial and Layton Southwest. Austin has offices in Dallas, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona and constructs large, diverse projects throughout the United States and abroad. Austin Commercial is listed as #31 on the Engineering News Record's list of Top 400 Contractors based upon volume of work performed in 2001. Layton has offices in Utah and Phoenix, Arizona and constructs diverse projects throughout the western United States. Layton is listed as #129 on the ENR list of Top 400 Contractors.

Once the design is sufficiently complete, Austin-Layton will obtain competitive bids and award contracts to various local subcontractors who will construct the various building components under the supervision of Austin-Layton.
