Welcome to the project website for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s new Rental Car Center. This state of the art facility was opened to the public on January 19, 2006.

Did you know that Phoenix is the 3rd largest airport rental car market in the country with $250 million annual gross revenue? To meet this growing demand and to prepare for future growth, the airport constructed this new consolidated rental car center that houses all airport rental car companies and their operations. Completed in January 2006 this project produced a world class facility, dedicated to providing first class customer service. Up to 13 rental car companies can share the facility which provides one central location for rental pick-ups and returns. The site is located at 16th Street and Buckeye Road just west of the airport. Included on the 141- acre site is a 120,000 square foot Customer Service Building situated on top of a 5,600-car multi-level parking garage. The new center is serviced by a common shuttle-bus system which transports customers between the Terminals and the new rental car center.
